Looks lovely, and the price even seems surprisingly reasonable. I have to imagine one in this condition has value in Europe, too.

I love the regular CX, I did not know they made a GTI trim. That makes it more cool.

Old Citroens are very much on mu list of things to import when I theoretically have disposable income one day

- disposable income
- living in Vancouver
Choose one

Yeah, it’s a catch 22. Long term it’s totally not doable to live in Vancouver, but the film industry is here and good for making a bit of cash. At some point we’ll probably move somewhere that we can actually buy property.

They certainly do have value in Europe. A million of these (literally) have been produced but most have rotted away a long time ago (the CX I’d the last Citroën to truly rot) so they’re collectable now. Great classic to drive nowadays.

When I was in high school there was a Citroen importer in the Atlanta area I went to with a buddy at the time. Had a couple super cool CXs on the floor. I still have the brochure somewhere in the (unfortunately large) cache of shit ive held onto since the 1980s. Way cool!
